Shippers—Royse and Co. There are great complaints just now (through our harbor being so tbroiued with shipping) of the want of accommodation at t lie wharves. Captain Mitchell, of the Langsione, Is most anxious to get bis ship alongside, but there is no room for her, so Bhe will have, for the present, to discharge in the etream. Consignees must not therelore impute the delay to any other cause. When the present extension of the Gladstone Pier is concluded, it will be a great benefit 10 all. Captain Bennett, of the Prince Alfred, reports leaviri"- Kaiparaon Sunday 12th and experiencing light and variable winds throughout the passage, arriving at 8 a.m on Saturday morning; reports the following vessels loading at Kaipara—Thomas and Henry and Seagull, for Dunedin; Mary Webster, for Melbourne ; and Harriett Armitage, for Newcastle. , , , The barque Ansdell, Captain Irvine arrivedl in harbor on Saturday, from Newcastle, N.S.YV. She left that port on Mor day, December tfth, made Cape Farewell on the 16th instant; experienced moderate easterly winds throughout the passage, arriving in harbor as above. The captain reports that he was in company with the brig Pakeba, Captain Bruce, ilong the Coast. She was from Brisbane, bound to D Ttie Union Co's magnificent s.s. Hawea arrived vesterdav morning. We are indebted to the purser Lr the following report:- Left Onehunga at 11.16 lm on 15th, arrW at Taranaki at 5.30 a.m. on ieth • left at 7 a.m., arriving at Nelson at 8 p.m. same day ; u.<t again at noon on 17th, arriving at Picton at 7 p.m.; leaviu- at,9 a.m. following morning (18th), and reaching Wellington at 7 a.m.; left at~s p.m, and arrived here at 10.45 a.m. yesterday. From Onehunga to Tararjaki thick and stormy, thence to arrival light winds and fine weather. She sails for South at 1 p.m. to-day. The fine barque Natal Queen, Captain Rapp, arrived on Saturday night, and anchored at 6 p.m off the breakwater. She brings a cargo of timber from Ilobart Town, consigned to W. 11. Harcreaves Captain Rapp reports that he left Hobart T nvn on the Bth, and cleared the land at miduight same night with a southerly wiud Had a fair weather passage across, passing the Solander at midnight on the 13th. Then three days' calm weather to Foreaux Straits. Passed Otago Heads on Friday, at 8 a.m., in company with the schooner Leslie. Made the Peninsula at 9 a.m, yesterday ; light easterly winds on the coast; arriving as above. _^__________^____
