CHRISTCHURCH. Monday, December 20. (Befoie his Worship the Mayor.) Drunk and Disorderly.—The following inebriates were dealt with : William Chapman, fined 20s ; John Disson, sa; John Walker, ss; Peter Peterson, ss; George Reggo, 5s ; James McMurray, 5s ; Michael Dowlan, 20s. Illegally on Premlses.— William Rigg«, charged with being found illegally on the
back premises of Barrett's Hotel, on Saturday night, was fined 5s and cautioned. Lunacy from Dkink.—Samuel Clark, who was brought up on this charge, and had recovered, was fined 10s. Mr O'Neill, who appeared to prosecute on behalf .of Mrs Clarke, said that a charge of assault would be preferred against accused on Wednesday next, 'acob Stevenson, who had been remanded on this charge, and had recovered, was discharged.
