It had been airanged that the Governor should visit the show of cattle and sheep at the Agricultural and Pastoral Association's grounds, but the heavy rain prevented this intention from being carried out. A detachment of police under Mr Inspector Buekley were present on the platform. To-morrow his Excellency will attend the show, and in the evening will be present at the annual dinner of the association at the Clarendon Hotel.
