♦ CHRISTCHURCH. Monday, November 1. (Before Dr Back and H. P. Murray Aynsley, Esqs, J.P.’s.) Drunk and Disorderly.—Hugh O’Neill, was fined 20s; Morgan Lewis and Edward Quirk, 5s each ; and Ellen Davis, dismissed with a caution. Vagrancy. —Richard Lanley and George Maslin were brought up on this charge. Evidence was given of the vagrant, loafing life led by the accused, and they were each sentenced to three months’ imprisonment with hard labour.
