Phcebe, Capt Worsp, arrived in harbour at 6.45 this morning from Northern Ports, she sailed for South about ten o’clock. The s.s. Hawea arrived in port at 8.30 from Northern Ports, she sails for South this afternoon. The Lutterworth was brought alongside the wharf to take in the remainder of her cargo yesterday, and as it is all in port, a week ought to till her up. The s.s Bruce, Captain Jones, arrived in harbor yesterday, from Dunedin, via intermediate ports, at 10 a.m. She left Port Chalmers at 7.30 p.m on the 11th ; arrived Oamaru 1.15 a.m next morning, took on board 38 bales wool, 42 csks tallow, and left 7.45 a.m ; arrived Timaru 1 p.m the same day, discharged 120 tons cargo, and left at 7.45 p.m ; arrived Akaroa 4.30 a.m yesterday, and left 5.30 am; experienced light airs and flue weather throughout the passage, arriving as above. The brigantine Hannah Barret, from Kaipara to Lyttelton, was off the VVaitara on Friday last. The s.s Ladybird, Captain Andrew, arrived in harbor yesterday at noon, from Port Chalmers. She left that port at 5 p.m on the I2th ; experienced fine weather, arriving as above. She sails North today at 3 p.m. The s.s Star of the South arrived in harbor yesterday at 3 p.m, from Auckland, via Wellington; She left Auckland on the 6th instant at 5 p.m; arrived at Wellington on Monday, at midnight; left at noon on the 12th; experienced strong southerly winds from Auckland to Wellington; thence tine weather, arriving as above.
