CLEARED. Oct. 2- Cleopatra, brigantine, 92 tons, Brown, for Timaru. Oct. 2—-Antelope, cutter, 17 tons, Malcolmson, for Akaroa. Oct. 2—Phcebe, s.s, 416 tons, Worsp, for Northern ports. Oct. 2—Hawea, s.s,, 461 tons, Wheeler, for Northern ports. The N.Z.S.S. Company’s p.s. Manawatu arrived in port last night at 9 a.m. from Wellington with Messrs Montgomery and Brown as passengers. She sails for Wellington this afternoon. A schooner was signalled from the North this morning. It is expected to be the Khoderick Dhu from the Kaipara with timber. The barque Joliba, from Sydney, arrived in port during the night. The steamers Hawea and Phcebe arrived from Dunedin this morning. Both steamers sail this afternoon for Northern ports.
