Captain Logan intends to enter an action against the Commissioner of Cestorns for damage sustained by wrongful survey of the Hero, which resulted in his being fined £IOO. The matter lately formed the subject of a petition to the House, which was not favorably reported on ; hence Captain Logan’s intention to try the case in the Supreme Court. There are seventeen prisoners for trtal at the criminal sessions. There are no cases of personal violence, except one for assaulting a constable ; three of perjury, and one of indecent assault, A local scratch team will play the football players a match on Saturday.
