Passengers —Saloon: Mr and Mrs Williams. Steerage: MissjfHoverdan, Messrs Wendenkan, Nenvies, Ruskon, Rolds, and child. SUPPOSED ARRIVAL OF THE LACT URA. A large 'ship was signalled this morning. Captain McLean, |of the Ringarooma, informs us that he passed her last night at 6 p.m., and that she was a large vessel, deep loaded, and with painted ports ; there is, therefore, little doubt it is the long-expected Lactura. The s.s. Mullough will visit the ship this afternoon. ENGLISH SHIPPING. ARRIVALS. Avalanche, at Gravesend, on July 27th, from Canterbury. DEPARTURES. Himalaya, from Plymouth, July 24th, for Canterbury. Queen Bee, from Gravesend, for Canterbury, on August sth. VESSELS LOADING. At London, for Canterbury, on August 6th— Duke of Edinburgh, .Queen Bee, Waitangi, Langstone, Soukar. At Liverpool, for Canterbury—Sumner, Heathcote, and Brisbane. The Kakaia, from Otago to London, was spoken with on July 18th, in 36 N. 39 W. The Dallam Tower was at Callao on June 3rd.
