Passenger — Mr John Fletcher. Sept 24—Tanpo, s.s., 461 tons, Macfarlane, for Northern ports. SAILED, Sept 24—Linnet, ketch, 20 tons, Smith, for Pigeon Bay. POST-OFFICE NOTICES. Supplementary mails for United Kingdom via San Francisco, at 8.30 a.m. Monday, September 27. For Wellington, New Zealand, andN.S.W, per Easby at 8 a. in. Correspondence must be addressed per Easby. Mails per Albion will close as under : For United Kingdom, via Southampton and Brindisi, at 1.30 p.m.; late letters, 2 p.m. For Continent of Europe, India, China, and the East, at 1.30 p.m. ; late letters, 2 p.m. For Australian colonies, Port Chalmers, Dunedin, and the Bluff, at 1.30 p.m. ; late letters, 2 p.m. Registered letters and money orders, at 12.30 noon. Late letters at the station must be posted in the guard’s van before 2.30 p.m. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, Australian Colonies, &c, &c, per Ringarooma, at 3.25 p.m. ; late letters, 3.45 p.m., and railway station, 4 p.m. Note —Should the Ringarooma sail at her advertised time, supplemenlary mails for the United Kingdom via San Francisco, the Sandwich Islands, &c, &c. will be despatched.
