Auckland, September 22. Captain Johnston, a man belonging to the Magellan Cloud, fell down stairs, and sustained injuries from which he is not expected to recover. The half point for Auckland was a touch down at the commencemence of the game. Over three thousand persons were present. At the conclusion the spectators gave three hearty cheers for the visitors. The weather held up fine throughout.
