POST-OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails close at Chief Post Office for the following places, as under, subject to necessary alterations: — Thursday, September 23. For Port Chalmers and Dunedin, per Beautiful Star, at 11.25 a.m. ; late letters, 11.55 a.m.; railway station, 12.25 noon train. Friday, September 21 For Northern ports of New Zealand, per Taupo. Closing time future notice. |Saturday, September 25. Mails per Ladybird will close as under : For. United Kingdom via San Francisco, Continent of Europe, America, Sandwich Islands, &c, at 9 p.m For Northern ports of New Zealand, at 9 p.m. Kegistered letters and money orders, at 5 p.m. Newspapers for all parts will close at 8 p.m. Sunday, September 26. Supplementary Englsh mails via San Francisco, at 8.30 a.m. Monday, September 27. For United Kingdom, &c, &c, and Australian colonies per Albion.
