SITTINGS IN CHAMBERS. Tuesday, September 21. (Before his Honor Mr Justice Johnston.) . His Honor sat in the Court Chambers at 11 a.m. RE CHARLES TRIBE. The bankrupt in person applied for an order of adjudicatioE, and fixing of fiist meeting of creditors. His Honor made the order, fixing the first meeting of creditors for Wednesday, 29th September, at 11 a.m. RE THOMAS SHAILER. On the application of the bankrupt in person, his Honor made a similar order, fixing first meeting of creditors for September 29th, at noon. RE WILL OP PETERNELL MANATON, DECEASED. Mr Cowlishaw applied for an order for leave to issue probate to Francis Thomas Opie, one of the executors named in the will. His Honor made an order, reserving leave to the other executor to apply. JUDGE V LITTLE. Mr George Harper applied that this case, which was a motion to speak to costs of decree, might stand over until Friday next, in order that an affidavit filed might be answered. His Honor granted the application. WILL OP GEORGE SCOTT, DECEASED. Mr Duncan applied for leave to issue probate to Samuel Francis Scott as sole executor under the will. His Honor made the order as prayed. RE WILL OP JOHN SLOPER, DECEASED. Mr Slater applied for probate in this case to John Lee and George Keats as executors of the said will. His Honor made the order. RE JAMES GLEN PURVIS. Mr George Harper for Mr Thomas applied for an order of adjudication and fixing of first meeting of creditors. His Honor made the order, fixing first meeting of creditors for September 29th, at 2.30 p.m. RE J. G. BURGESS. Mr O'Neill applied for a similar order in this case. . His Honor made the order, creditors to meet on Thursday, September 30th, at 2 p.m. RE JAMES OLDHAM IRVING. Mr Bamford applied in this case for an order fixing date of final examination. His Honor granted the application, fixing last examination of bankrupt for Thursday, November 4th. The Court then rose.
