Mails close at Chief Post Office for the following places, as under, subject to necessary alterations:— Satueday, September 18. For Port Chalmers and Dunedin, per Easby, at 1.45 p.m. Late letters, 2.5 p.m. Railway station, 2.30 p.m. For Port Chalmers, Dunedin, and the Australian colonies, per s.s. Otago, at 3.35 p:m. Late letters, 3.45 p.m. Railway station^4 p.m. _ _ Monday, September 20. For Nelson, Wellington, and the Australian colonies, per Omeo, at 11.35 a.m. Late letters, 11.45 a.m. Railway station, 12.25 noon train.
