POST-OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails close at Chief Post Office for the following places, as under, subject to necessary alterations: — Wednesday, September 15. For Northern ports, per Phoebe, at 1.45 p.iu. Late letters, 2.5 p.m. Railway station, 2.30 p.m. train. For Northern ports, per Taupo, at 3.20 p.m, Late letters, 3.40p.m. Railway station, 4 p.m. train. Thursday, September IG. For Southern provinces and Australian colonies, per s. s. Otago. Hour of closing in j., future notice. For ' Dunedin and Port Chalmers, per Beautiful Star, at 11.35 a.m. Late letters, 11.55 a.m, ■ Railway station, 12.25 p.m. train. A Post Office having been established at Longbeach (Ashburton district), a mail will be dispatched daily at 5.30 a.m., commencing on Monday, 6th Sept, 1875. ■ : r , J. J.
