MAGISTRATES' COURTS.

CHKISTCHUKCH. Tuesday, August 31. (Before G. L. Mellish, Esq, KM.) Drunk, and Disorderly. William Osborne, charged with drunkenness, was dismissed. Lunacy |from Drink.—Emanuel Treriwith and Christopher Taylor, who had been remanded on this charge, were brought up and discharged. Larceny.—Allen Coburn, a young lad, was charged with stealing a meerschaum pipe from another lad, named S. Mitchell. From the evidence it appeared that the accused stole the pipe on Sunday night, and on Monday morning tried to pawn it at the various pawn shops in the city. Ordered to be sent to the Industrial School for two years, to be brought up in the teaching of the Presbyterian Church.
