MAGISTRATES’ COURTS.

CHRISTCHURCH. Friday, July 30, [Before W. D. Carruthers, Esq, J.P.] Drunk and Disorderly.— For this offence John Mhier and Joseph Hutton were fined 10s each, Harry Reeves, for being drunk and committing an act of exposure, and assaulting the police in the execution of their duty, was fined 60s, or one week’s imprisonment. Mary Kennedy was dismissed with a caution. Lucy Tracy, for being drunk and soliciting prostitution, was fined 20s. Francis Plummer, who had been remanded to Lyttelton for medical treatment, was dismissed.
