From Mr John Forrester, stating lhat he was willing to carry out the provisions of his lease as soon as the dispute about the boundary line was settled, and asking the Council to sanction the erection of the fence in the line marked out by Messrs Ross and Pavitt, instead of those marked by Mr Farr.
Or Chalmers then moved —" That Mr Farr be informed that there is a question whether the boundary between the Council's property and Mr Oldfield's, surveyed by him, is correct."
Cr Buist seconded the motion, which, after a few remarks from Cr Grange, was passed. From Katheson's Agency, asking to have Mr J. Inglis' name on the burgess list, instead of Matheson's Agency.
