A DISCLAIMER.

To the Editor of the Globe. SlK—Will you kindly allow me space to correct an error which appeared in your issue of yesterday. It is there stated that after Mr Triggs was knocked down, I drove on until overtaken by the constable. I cannot imagine how such an assertion could have been made, for whilst I did all in my power to prevent the accident, I also pulled up the horse as quickly as possible after the occurrence. By inserting this you will greatly oblige, Yours, &c., GEORGE SHARP. High street, Christchurch, July 14th.
