POST-OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails close at Chief Post Office for the following places, as under, subject to necessary alterations: — Tuesday, July 13th. For Dunedin, per Hawea, at 11.40 a.m. Late letters, Chief Post-Office, 11.50 a.m. Railway station, 12.25 noon. For Northern provinces, per Taupo, 11.40 a.m. Late letters, Chief Post-Office, 11.50 a.m. Railway station, 12.25 noon. For Dunedin, per Ladybird, at 11.40 a.m. Late letters, Chief Post-Office, 11.50 a.m. Railway station, 12-25 noon. The Lyttelton mails will in future close at Christchurch at 8 a.m. ,11.45 a.m., and 3.20 p.m. J. J. FITZGIBBON, Chief Postmaster.
