Auckland, July 6. After further correspondence between the Superintendent and the Colonial Secretary, and the signing by the latter of an agreement submitted by the General Government, £4OO has been paid into the bank from the Colonial Treasury for the use of the Pumping Association. The Superintendent signed the agreement submitted under protest. Grahamstown, July 6. At a public meeting last night, it was decided to petion Parliament for increased representation.
