SITTINGS IN CHAMBERS. Friday, June 25. (Before His Honor Mr Justice Williams.) His Honor sat in the Court Chambers at ila.m, RE THOMAS BELL JONES. Mr George Harper, for Mr Thomas, applied on behalf of J. H. Sutter and another creditor for an absolute order of adjudication. . His Honor made the order, fixing first meeting of creditors for Monday, July sth, bankrupt to surrender at same time. RE MIDDLETON AND MCQUADE. In this case, which was an application on behalf of 0. W. Turner for an order annulling order of adjudication herein of June Ist, an adjournment was granted until Tuesday next in Chambers. Final Examinations, Orders fixing date of final tx uninations for August sth were made as follows : —Re Thomas Blyth (Mr;Thompson, solicitor) ; re Predk, Lane (Mr Slater, solicitor). RE GOODS OF ANNIE HEWISON, DECEASED. In this case, on the application of Mr Duncan, his Honor made an order granting leave to remove affidavits, &c, off the file, RE GOODS OF JOSEPH KEETLBY, DECEASED. Mr Duncan applied for probate to J. H. H. Keetley, as one of the executors, reserving leave to others to apply. His Honor made the order; RE JOSEPH ARMSTRONG, DECEASED. Mr George Harper applied for an order granting letters of administration to the widow of deceased. His Honor granted the application. RE LAND TRANSFER ACT, AND RE APPLICATION OP G. W. NALDER. In this case a rule nisi had been obtained on application of G. W. Nalder, calling upon J. F. Roberts, of Akaroa, to show cause why a caveat entered by him against certain land being brought under the Land Transfer Act should not be withdrawn, Mr Garrick said he had received intimation from the other side that the caveat had been withdrawn. His Honor made an order making the rule nisi absolute with costs.
