Saturday, May 22nd, For Dunedin, per Bruce, 2.30 p.m. ; late letters, chief Post office, 2.00 p.m. ; railway station, 3.5 p.m. For Dunedin and Port Chalmers, per Taranaki, at if. 3o a.m. ; late letters 11.50 a.m. ; railway station, 12.25 p.m. Monday, the 24th instant, being the Queen’s birthday, all local mails for despatch on that day will close at the Chief Post office, Christchurch, on Saturday, the 22nd instant, at 9 p.m. The mails for flipper Pdccarton, Prebbleton, Lincoln, Springston, Irwell, Doyleston, Lecston, and Southbridge, will close at the Post Office, Christchurch, daily, at 7.30 p.m. J.
