The ketch Clematis arrived at Wellington on April 15th, irom Lyttelton ; from that port she will •all for Pelorm Sound for another cargo for Lyttelton, when she will load for Auckland. The barque Southern Cross, Captain Boon, left Hobart Town on March 25th with very light S.E. weather, which detained the barque for two days, the land not being cleared until the 28th. The light westerly winds which gave tier an oiling held to her until the Snares were sighted on April 2ud, and then light variable winds kept her on the coast until April 7th, when she made Dunedin Heads and anchored. She was towed up the harbor on April Bth by the steamer Express. *She discharged her Dunedin part of her cargo, and left that port on Saturday, the 17th instant; experienced light W. winds until Sunday; from thence light baffling winds until her arrival.
The B.s Phoebe, Captain Worsp. arrived .in harbor yesterday, at 3.10 p.m., from Northern ports. The purser reports that he left Manakau at 4 p.m. on the 16th, with light easterly winds, which lasted until arriving at Taranaki at 8 a.m. on the 17th ; left at 9 a.m. ; from thence light N.E. winds; arrived at Nelson 6 a.m. on the 18th, left again at 6.30 p.m. on the 19th, and arrived at Picton 4 am. on the 20th ; left at 5 a.m., arrived at Wellington 11.30 a.m., and left at 6.10 p.m. the same day ; arrived at the Kaikoras at 3.30 a.m. yesterday, and left at 4.30 a.m.; experienced from Nelson until her arrival in harbor light variable winds and fine weather.
