MAGISTRATES' COURTS.
CHRISTCHURCH. Wednesday, April 21. [Before G. L. Mellish, Esq, R.M., and G. L. Lee, Esq, J.P.] Obscene Language.—Albert Kilner was fined 40s for using obscene language in a public place. Drunkenness. —Mary Maule, charged with drunkenness and soliciting prostitution, was sentenced to one month's imprisonment with hard labor. Frank Welstead, for being drunk and disorderly, was fined 20s.
