Her passengers, thirtv-one souls in all, were taken on board in the Multough, s.s, yesterday, and the anchor was weiphed about 4.30 p.m. The vessel was towed out of the harbor by the Mullough, s.b, and Gazelle, ■ • A number of friends went to see the passengers off. and if good wishes ensure a ship's speed and safety, she will have a quick and comfortable passage. We hope that in her first voyage home the Waimate will sustain the reputation she has earned here of being a model of speed and strength. The creature comforts of her passengers are well provided for, an unusual amount of live stock being on board, and we should think salt or preserved provisions would be rarities at the table of the Waimate.
