CANTERBURY RAILWAYS. NOTICE. "IS HONOR the SUPERINTENDENT _ directs it to be notified that the Schedule of Tolls published in " Gazette No XL., of the 24th August, 1874, shall be amended as follows, namely: Lyttelton and Christchurch Line, Class C, in reference to carriage between Lyttelton and Christchurch, shall henceforward be charged the sum of One Shilling and Twopence instead of One Shilling as heretofore charged. "IS HONOR the SUPERINTENDENT L directs it to be notified that he has, with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, made the following Regulations and Charges for the Lyttelton and Christchurch Railway, and Great Southern Railway between Christchurch and Selwyn, and that the same will come into operation on and after Wednesday, the 14th April, 1875. Clause 40 of the Regulation passed by his Honor the Superintendent on the 27th day of October, 1874, and published in the "Gazette" No XLVIII. of the 31st day of October, 1874, is hereby repealed, and the following is made in lieu thereof : STORAGE OF TIMBER. All Timber, whether the same be the whole or a portion of the quantity contained in a specification, not removed from the Railway Premises within twelve working hours after delivery of the specification, or within twelve working hours after the specification be made out, shall be subject to the following charges, viz:—For the first week or fraction of a week, One Penny per hundred feet superficial. For the second week or fraction of a week, One Penny per hundred feet superficial. For the third week or fraction of a week, One Penny per hundred feet superficial. For the fourth week or fraction of a week, One Penny per hundred feet superfificial. For every succeeding week or fraction of a week, Two Pence per hundred feet superficial. THOMAS WM.
