Mails close at Chief Post Office for the following places, as under, subject to necessary alterations: — For Picton and Nelson, per s.s. Maori, on Wednesday, 14th April, at 11.15 a.m. For Wellington, Nelson, and Australian Colonies, per Tararua, on Wednesday, April 14th, at 2.15 p.m. For Dunedin direct, per s.s. Wellington, on Friday, 16th April, at 11.15 a.m. For Wellington, Napier, Auckland, and Fiji, per s.s. Star of the South, on or about Saturday, April 17th. Hour of closing in future notice.
For Dunedin and Port Chalmers, per s.s. Bruce, on Friday, April 16th, at 11.15 a.m. For Northern Provinces, per Taranaki, on Saturday, April 17th at 11.15 a.m. J. J. FITZGIBBON, Chief Postmaster.
