COINCIDENCES.

To the Editor of the Globe. Sir, —“ Observer” of the Lyttelton limes , is inclined to wax impudent. His nonsense re the Pioneer extracts is quite upset. There can be no coincidence in two newspapers reprinting the same extract and making exactly similar alterations; but it occurred to me at the time as curious that the Lyttelton Times of February 15th should republish from a Nelson paper an extract, the original of which was published so close to its own office, viz., in Globe and Press of January 29th, and that the Times should reproduce an original paragraph from Thursday’s Press and Globe in its Saturday’s issue (not so early as Friday, thanks to “Observer’s” reminder that this day was Good Friday). Yours, &c,, TIT-FOR-TAT.
