The Customs revenue collected yesterday was as follows £ s. d.
Mr H. E. Alport reports the following sales at auction:—At the Head of the Bay, Akaroa, ou Friday last, sold as under—2 fat cows at £6 10s, 3 at £7, 2 at £7 7b 6d, 1 at £29 ss, 1 at £lO, 3 springers at £6 15s, £7 153, £9 7s 6d, dairy cows 2 at £4, 2 at £5 10s, 4 at £6,' 1 bull £3 ss, 3 working bullocks at £lO 10s each, 109 merino ewes 4s 4d, 3 Lincoln rams 27s 6d. At the Canterbury Sale Yards, Addington, on Wednesday last, sold as under—s 3 head Ito 2 year old steers and heifers at £3 7s 6d, 8 head ditto at £3, 5 head yearlings at 33s 6d, 3 dairy cows at £6 ss, £6 10s, £8 S 3, 1 bull at £3, half-bred lambs at 5s 6d. Sales of prime mutton were made at from lid to 2Jd per lb. Beef in great demand at 25s to 30s per ICO lbs.
