February 3—Jannette, ketch, 34 tons, Outridge, from the Bays. CLEARED, February 3 —Rose M., barque, 386 tons, D. Walkely, for Sydney, February 3 —Wellington, s.s,, 262 tons, Carey, for Northern ports. February 3—Alert, schooner, 44 tons, Hays, for Oaxnaru. Cargo —sleepers. The brig and barque that anchored at the Heads yesterday afternoon, proved to be the Sea Shell, from Hobart Town, and Craig Ellachie, from Bluff. They came up the harbor this morning. The s.s Wellington, Captain Carey, from Dunedin, arrived in harbor at 10 a.m. this morning. She leaves for Northern Ports this afternoon. POST OFFICE NOTICES. Mails close at Chief Post Office for the following places, as under, subject to necessary alterations: — For Dunedin and Port Chalmers, per Beautiful Star, on Friday, February sth, at 11.30 a.m. For Wellington, Nelson, and the Australian Colonies, per s.s. Otago, on Friday, February sth, at 2.15 p.m. For Dunedin direct, per Ladybird, on Thursday, February 4th, at 11.30 a.m. For Fiji, Sandwich Islands, United States, South, Central, and British America, West Indies, United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, &c., &c., via San Francisco, per s.s.
