SUPREME COURT.
SITTINGS IN CHAMBERS. Friday, January 22. (Before His Honor Mr Justice Gresson.) His Honor sat in the Court Chambers at 11 a.m. BE GOODS OF SAMUEL WEBB, DECEASED. Dr Foster applied for letters of administration to Jane Louisa Webb and Wm. W. Webb. The case was ordered to stand over for further consideration by his Honor. WILSON V HALL AND OTHERS. In this case an order was applied for that the accounts mentioned in decree of January 19th (re Town Hall Company) should be brought in and verified on oath by the plaintiff on or before February sth, 1875. Mr Wynn Williams appeared to consent, and His Honor made the order. PATERSON V MANDEVILLE AND RANGIORA ROAD BOARD. In this case a rule nisi had been obtained by Mr Joynt on behalf of the plaintiff. Mr Duncan for the defendants, and the Resident Magistrate of Kaiapoi now appeared to show cause. Mr Joynt contra in support of the rule. After hearing argument on both sides, His Honor took time to consider. RICKMAN V THORNE. This was an application by MrJoymon the part of the plaintiff for a provisional injunction to restrain defendant from polluting the water near the plaintiff’s residence. Mr Garrick appeared for defendant. The case, after some argument, stood over until Thursday next in Chambers. RE MIDDLETON AND M’QUADE. In this case Mr Joynt, on behalf of Messrs Twentyman and Cousin and other creditors, had obtained a rule nisi calling on the debtors to show cause why they should not be adjudicated bankrupts. Mr Garrick, on behalf of the debtors, now shewed cause, and after argument, His Honor reserved his decision. The Court then rose,
