GOOD TEMPLAR SPORTS.

The sports, confined to members of the various Good Templar Lodges, which were adjourned from Anniversary Day, took place yesterday in a paddock at the corner of Hereford and Barbadoes streets, kindly placed at the disposal of the committee by Mr J. B. Dale. There was not a very large attendance, owing no doubt, in a measure, to the unpropitious state of the weather, and probably to the absence of the attraction of a baud ; but certainly to the numerous other fields of pleasure invitingly held out to amusementseekers. The following races were pulled off : 200 Yards race, for W.C.T.'s and P.W.C.T.'s; Ist prize, third-degree collar.
