SUPREME COURT.

SITTINGS IN .BANKRUPTCY. Monday, December 21. [Before His Honor Mr Justice Gresson.] The usual monthly sittings of the Supreme Court in Bankruptcy was held yestesday at 11 a.m. ADJOURNMENTS. The following cases were adjourned to Thursday, January 21st, viz:—A. Johnston (Mr Bamford, solicitor); R. Belcher and C. Fairweather (Mr Joynt, solicitor); Charles Anderson (Mr Slater, solicitor); James Amos (in person); William Lee (Dr Foster, solicitor); A. McMillan (in person);.Ebenezer Long (in person); W. Barnard (Mr Slater, solicitor); 11. Brooke (Mr Hawkins, solicitor); W. Mitchell (in person); Jonathan Kingdon (Mr Joynt. solicitor); IT. J.Wood (in person); C. B. Dudley and J. Craig (in person). The following cases were adjourned until the undermentioned dates, viz:—-W. B. Stamford (Dr Foster, solicitor), to January 13th; R. S. Seymour (in person), to January 19th, in chambers for examination of a witness; S. W. Palmer (Mr Joynt, solicitor), until Tuesday. RE J. H. BENNETT. Mr Thomas appeared for the bankrupt and applied for the final order. Mr Slater appeared to oppose on the part of Mr R. Beattie, a creditor, and examined the bankrupt aud the opposing creditor. Mr Thomas having examined Mr T. C. Pearse, the case stood over for judgment until Wednesday next. RE JOHN KITCHEN. In this case there was no appearance of the bankrupt, and the petition was dismissed. RE J. KING. Iti this case Mr Slater appeared for the bankrupt. After some argument the case was adjourned for consideration. FINAL ORDERS. Final orders of discharge were made in the fol lowing cases :—M. Donohue (Mr Thomas, solicitor); J. H. Evans (Mr Thomas, solicitor); Albert Stace (Mr Slater, solicitor); James Crowley (in person); Samuel Badden (Mr Thonvis, solicitor); George Fuller (Mr Hawkins, solicitor.) The Co mi then rose. I
