Steerage—Mr Offman, and four North. December 13—Onward, schooner, from Hokitika, cargo timber. December 13—Sarah and Mary, ketch, Grubb, from Hokitika, cargo timber. December 13—Minnie, ketch, 20 tons, Marquet, from the Bays. December 13—Nautilus, cutter, 30 tons, Nelson, from Pigeon Bay. December 13—Emerald, ketch, 43 tons, Whitby, from Picton, with timber, CLEARED. December 14—Three Friends, ketch, 14 tons, Lanchester, for Port Levy. December 14—William and Mary, 57 tons, Stevens, for Amuri Bluff. December 17 Annie, ketch, 14 tons, Clarke for Kaiapoi. December 14—Taranaki, s.s, 299 tons, 299 tons, Wheeler, for Northern ports. Passengers—Saloon : Miss Field, Mrs McGowan and child, Miss Horrell, Mr Crowe, and 12 for North. Steerage—Mrs Morgan and child, and Mr R, Vincent and 4 for North. December 14—Flying Cloud, schooner, 46 tons, Andrews, for Wellington. December 14 Minnie, ketch, 17 tons, Marquet, for Heathcote. SAILED, December 14—Lucy James, ketch, 27 tons, Eanaley, for Pigeon Bay. December 14—Linnett, ketch, 17 tons, Smith, for Pigeon Bay. December 14—Edward, schooner, 30 tons, Dalmar, for Le Eons Bay. December 14—Antelope, cutter, 17 tons, Malcolmson, for Akaroa. December 14—Beautiful Star, s.s, 146 tons. Peterson, for Dunedin via intermediate ports. Passengers—Saloon; Messrs Brown, Goodall, Miss McCaffery. The schooner Onward and ketch Sarah and Mary, from Hokitika, arrived in harbor on Sunday evening about 11 p.m. Both vessels left Hokitika the same time, viz, December 9, and kept in company all the way, and when they arrived the schooner Onward was about two lengths ahead.
