MAGISTRATES' COURTS.

CHRISTCHURCH. Friday, November 13. (Before C. C. Bowert, Esq., R.M.) DRUNK AND FIGHTING. John Brown and Charles Brown, arrested for being drunk and fighting in the streets, were each fined 20s. DRUNK AND CREATING A DISTURBANCE. Alexander Heenan, charged with being drunk and creating a disturbance in the Golden Age Hotel, was fined 10s. DRUNK AND DISORDERLY. George Jones and A. K. Alexander, for this offence, were each fined ss, and Wm. Brian, John Gellaspy, John Kerr, and John Morgan 10s each. George Gordon, an old offender, charged with drunkenness, was sentenced to fourteen days imprisonment hard labor. LARCENY, Martin O'Keefe, charged on remand with the larceny of a watch from J. Osborne, was discharged.
