{Per Anglo-Australian Press Telegraph Agency .) Wellington, November 5. It is stated upon good authority, that the following redistribution of the j udges will be made after the conclusion of the Court of Appeal Sir G. Arney to remain at Wellington ; Judge Johnston to go to Dunedin or Auckland ; Judges Richmond and Gresson to remain as at present ‘ Judge Chapman is expected to retire ; and Sir G. Arney goes home to England in February next, when Mr Prendergast will succeed him. Auckland, Nov, 5. The inhabitants of Onehunga last night presented Mr O’Eorke with a valuable sarvict of plate as an acknowledgement of his disinterested action in retiring from the Ministry. In responding, Mr UT orke said the step was not taken hurriedly or on the impulse of the moment, but aft* r mature consideration.
[FROM OUR DUNEDIN CORRESPONDENT.] Dunedin, November 4. A prospectus has been issued for converting the Dunedin distillery into a brewery, with a capital of £40,000. Judge Chapman goes to the Appeal Court on Tuesday. The Phoebe is leaving on Sunday, and will be full of passengers for your races.
