COLLEGE SPORTS.

The College sports postponed on Thursday account of the weather came off to-day at 2.30 p.xn. The weather was splendid, and there was a very large attendance of visitors. The first item on the programme was The Old Bovs Rage (300 yards handicap.) F. Sheath, 12 yards 1 M. Davie, 6 yards 2 E. Cotterill, 16 yards ... ... 3 Waxman, 11 yards ... ... 4 A splendid start was effected, those having a lump of start making the most of their advantage. Sheath, after about half the distance had been gone, forged ahead, closely pursued by Davie, who, however, could not overhaul him, though making a series of plucky efforts. Davis and Ollivier put on the pace, but were unable to get near enough to do much, the race ending as above. Time—22 seconds.
