Passengers—saloon: His Excellency the Governor, Captain Le Patorel, Mr Gully, Messrs Bridger, Bush, Dalgleish, Webber, Herman, Thompson, Hayman, Robertson, Fountain, Jobberns, and McGlashan, and ten for north. Steerage: Mr and Mrs Williams, MrsScanlan, Mr Gray, and seven for north. CLEARED. Oct 13—Transport, brig, 307 tons, J. Kavanagh, for Newcastle, in ballast. Cunningham and Co, agent. Passengers —Mr and Mrs McNab. Oct 13 Woodlark, brig, 258 tons, Mcßurney, for Sydney, in ballast. H. Dunsford, agent. VESSELS IN HARBOR. Steamers —Taranaki. Ships—Dorette, Cathcart, Taunton, Inverallan, Merope. Barques—Especulador, Hopeful, Queensland, Natal Queen. Brigs—Woodlark, Transport. Brigantines and schooners —Esther, Reward, Edward, Colleen Bawn, Maiden City, Nile, Alert, Bee, Spray, Jessie. Ketches —Alice Jane, Courier, Margaret, Linnet, Minnie, Kestrel. Cutter —Antelope. A strong S.W. -wind was blowing all day, and a boat anchored just off shore was swamped, and work on the wharves was stopped. The Taranaki, s.s., Captain Wheeler, arrived in harbor this morning, at 8 a.m., from Dunedin, and proceeds north tomorrow.
