Port Chalmers, October 3. The immigration to the port of Dunedin for the quarter ending 30th September—From United Kingdom amounted to 4496 souls, from Australia 492, and from Africa 1, total 4989. The emigration from the port for the same period amounted to 667 souls, leaving a net increase of 4322 souls. One hundred and twenty-seven of the emigrants were going to neighboring provinces.
