(Per Anglo-Australian Press Telegraph Agency.') Auckland, September 22 The Harbor Board has resolved to build two additional T’s to the west side of the wharf. Gbahamstown, September 22. The engine, battery, and plant c.f the once famous Shotover were submitted to the hammer to-day and all sold but the battery. It is expected that the claim will be amalgamated With some of the neighboring mines. Letters are published in to-day’s Advertiser from Tarapipi and others, stating that Piako river is closed in future to the steam launch. The Advertiser advises the owner of the steamer to proceed on his trip as usual. A banquet is to be given to Mr Sheehan to-night. Dunedin, September 22. A movement is on foot here to establish a marine store and piggery company on a large scale, for the purpose of turning into money the immense quantity of refuse annually wasted. Port Chalmers, September 22 A heavy N.E, gale is blowing. The Beautiful Star, for Lyttelton, had to put back twice. The Pakcha, brig, and United Brothers, schooner from Oarnarn. put in for shelter, having lost their anchors. THIS DA Y'S TELEGRAMS. [FROM OUR DUNEDIN CORRESPONDENT.] Dunedin, September 23. Mr Justice Chapman this afternoon dismissed the attachment against the Otago Guardian , but with costs.
