Brigs—Rio Loge, Maid of Erin. Brigantines and schooners Cleopatra J. G. Coleson, Annie Brown, Florence, Eliza Mary, Esther, Lady Don, Nile, Bee, Oriti. The s.s. Lady Bird, captain Andrews, arrived in harbor this morning, at 11 a.m. from Dunedin. The following is the report— Left Port Chalmers at 2 a.m. on the 27th, and arrived at heads at 2 p.m., and had to anchor owing to the state of the bar, at the time being dangerous. Left again at 6 a.m, next morning, experienced strong N.E. gales throughout the passsage, arriving as above.
