September 21—Maid of Erin, 152 tons, Curphey, for Newcastle, in ballast. P. Cunningham and Co, agents. VESSELS IN HARBOR. Ships Hereford, Eastern Monarch, Dorette, St. Lawrence, Cathcart, Canterbury, Carisbrooke Castle, Taunton, Inverallan. Barques—Auriga, Mallard, John Knox, Planter, John Bull. Brigs—Craig Ellachie, Rio Loge, Maid of Erin. Brigantines and schooners Cleopatra J. GK Coleson, Annie Brown, Florence, Eliza Mary. The Annie Brown was ready for sea when our express left, but had not yet sailed. She probably will to-night. There is much speculation as to the name of the barque signalled from the south, but nothing certain is known.
