BANKRUPTCY SITTINGS. This Day. [Before his Honor Mr Justice Gresson.] His Honor sat in Bankruptcy at eleven a.m. EE WM. WEIGHT. In this case, on the application of Mr Joynt for the bankrupt, his Honor made the final order of discharge, no creditors having proved on the estate. RE JOHN DIX. Mr Slater applied to have the case adjourned until October 29th. His Honor granted the application. Case adjourned until October 29th. re Joseph Beattie. In this case the bankrupt, wh© was a res-taurant-keeper in Colombo street, stated that he attributed his bankruptcy to falling off in business. On the application of Mr Bamford his Honor made the order. EE EDWARD SMETHURST. On the application of Mr Hawkins his Honor made the final order, after commenting severely upon the unlimited credit granted in cases of this kind. EE WM. FISHER. On the application of Mr Thomas hi* Honor made the order of discharge. RE CHARLES WHEELER MOUNTFORT. In this case the bankrupt had failed to give the-requisite notice of his intention to apply for the final order, and the case was adjourned to October 29th. RE ARTHUR HUNTER. His Honor made the final order in this case on the application of Mr Thomas c for Mr Nalder, RE THOMAS SMITH. Mr. Joynt applied for the final order of discharge. His Honor made the final order as prayed. RE RICHARD MILLER. On the application of the bankrupt his Honor made the final order of discharge. EE THOMAS SMITH. In this case the bankrupt, who was a compositor, obtained the final order of discharge on the application of Mr Bamford. EE HORATIO JAMES WOOD. In this case an adjournment was granted on the application of Mr Garrick, as representing proof creditors, to enable the bankrupt to give more information. EE CHARLES EDWARD DUDLEY AND |jAMES CRAIG. A similar order was made in this case on the application of Mr. Garrick. RE JONATHAN KINGDON. In this case Mr. Garrick appeared for Royse, Stead, and Co., proof creditors, and examined a number of witnesses. The Court then rose.
