PORT OF LYTTELTON. ARRIVED. September I—Canterbury, ship, 1250 tons, Strachan, from Glasgow, with 486 immigrants. Passengers—Messrs Angus and Bonner. September 2—Carisbrook Castle, ship, from London, with immigrants. The ship Canterbury was towed up the harbor as far as Ripa Island by the Halcyon last night. She was visited by the immigration and health officers this morning and passed. The Carisbrook Castle arrived in port this morning. Another ship, supposed to be the Taunton, was signalled this morning. A brigantine was also reported in the offing.
