She sails for South this afternoon. We are unable to publish passenger list as she was not at the wharf when the express left. The s.s Mullough proceeded yesterday afternoon..at 4 o’clock, up the harbor with the Health Officer, Immigration Commissioner, Custom House officers, agents, and reporters, for the purpose of boarding the Canterbury. On arriving at the Heads the vessel was discovered six or seven miles off the land. The Mullough proceeded four miles from the Heads, when the roll being heavy, and the weather looking very thick from the southward, and there being no chance of getting up to the vessel before dark, it was resolved, after a consultation, to return. Her head was accordingly put round, and she arrived at the wharf about 8 p.m.
