Mails close at Chief Post Office for the following places, as under, subject to necesBary alterations:— For Dunedin, Bluff, Australia, India, China, Mediterranean Ports, Continent of Europe, United Kingdom, and America, per js.s* Tararua, on Saturday, August 29th, at 11 a.m. Money orders and registered letters, till Friday, August 28th, at 5 p.m. Newspapers at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 29th. For Dunedin direct per Phoebe, on Friday, August 28th, at 11.30 a.m. For Northern Provinces of New Zealand, per s.s.
