<HE following extract from the Regulations for the Registration of Life Poli- | cies is published for general information : 1. Every policy-holder, who is such in respect of a policy granted or entered into in New Zealand by a Company. who shall have made a deposit of securities under the Life Assurance Companies Act, 1873, may, if the policy or contract has been made before the commencement of the said Act, register such policy with the Public Trustee within twelve months after the commencement of the said Act, but not after ; and, if made after the commencement of the f.aid Act, then within six months after the making thereof. (N.B.—The Ist of November, 1873, is fixed as the commencement of the Act.) 2. The person intending to register a pplicv shall either deliver the same to the Public Trustee at his office in Wellington, or may deliver the same to an agent; and every such person shall make application to register such policy in a form which can be obtained at any Post Office in the colony at which Money Orders are issued.
