AKAROA ELECTION.
[FROM OUK OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] Akaroa, Monday, Mr William Montgomery was elected unopposed for the electoral district of Akaroa He was proposed by Mr Henry Watkins, and seconded by Mr John Hemingway. Mr Montgomery thanked the electors. After a short speech a vote of thanks was proposed and seconded for the returning officer.
