Phoebe sails for South to-mght at 4 p.m. <* n . P LATE ACCIDENT AT LYTTELTON. 'Captain Hart was taken last night to Dunedin, to his friends, in the Beautiful Star, li was 11 p.m. when she started. He was lying on the table which was boarded round to prevent his shifting in the event of her rolling. • "He was very'ankious to be taken home to his family, and both Dr Rouse, Dr McDonald, and Dr Smyth of the Ballochmyle were of opinion that he had better go. “There is little doubt that the other ,) leg (the left) will have to be amputated on his arrival at Dunedin.
