MERIVALE. rp H E B E PARISH CHURCH WILL (D.V) RE-OPENED, With Choral Services, at 11 a.m and 6.30 p.m on SUNDAY NEXT, 2nd AUGUST. The Morning Sermon will be Preached by the Very Rev the Dean of Christchurch, and that in the Evening by the Rev Croasdalc Bowen. Collections will be made at both services in aid of the building fund. FRANCIS KNOWLES, Incumbent, K'kHODES, } Churchwardens. CATHEDRAL FUND. SUBSCRIPTIONS PAID OR PROMISED since November, 1871. Note.—The original subscriptions to the Cathedral Fund were, for the most part, payable in instalments. When the work was suspended in 1867, the instalments remaining due ceased to be collected. So long a period having elapsed since the promises were originally made, it has been thought right to obtain the sanction of each subscriber to his name being put down for the unpaid balance of his subscription. Several persons, including some whose names do not appear in this list, and others who are entered for a second subscription, paid their original subscriptions in full prior to 1867. Several of the subscriptions in the following list are payable in instalments extending, for the most part, over a period of three years.
